Karina Goodman - Artist/Illustrator/Children's Author Studio 61 Gallery is a working studio where Karina paints using oils & watercolours. Her work has its own product range & The Hippity Hop Book Collection. Established in 2005 it has gained a reputation for selling quality British Art, Jewellery & gifts. With a stunning backdrop of picturesque Peak District scenery, the studio is spread over 4 rooms. Each month sees a new fundraising exhibition giving the gallery a refreshing feel. It is mainly a gallery for Karina’s art & book collection but complemented by work of the many creative friends made over the last 10 years. Karina’s work is stocked in galleries up & down the UK, including her beloved Cornwall where she spends as much of her free time. Karina’s love for Cornwall is reflected in her work and the gallery has a distinctive seaside feel with unusual pieces made throughout the UK with many Designers from Cornwall and other UK coastlines. All have a common theme, which is texture. 2016 sees a new start for Janice with more time to spend in her workshop. The first part of the year will be dedicated to her jewellery experimenting with new equipment, tools and materials to enhance her designs bringing a new dimension to her work ready for the events over the Bank Holiday weekend. Janice loves the whole process from the idea to its delivery to a customer and particularly enjoys this weekend event as it enables her to meet her customers face to face.
