Linda Moss Sheep to Chic

Chapel en le Frith, High Peak / Wool felt and yarns; paintings

Linda and Scott Moss process the wool of their own sheep, from hand-shearing through washing, dyeing, combing carding and spinning to make designer/bespoke yarns and felt by traditional wet hand-rolling the prepared fleece. This is then made into bags, pouches for electronic devices, hats, etc. and hand-knitted goods using the designer yarns. Linda also makes mixed-media paintings inspired by the local landscape around their hillside smallholding high in the Peak District. Talks, demonstrations and tuition in all aspects of wool processing by hand, spinning tuition, and yarns made to your own design, colour and weight.
