Jenny Rothwell

New Mills / Contemporary jewellery design

Jenny lives with her family in New Mills. Her interest in the countryside and the sea shore provides both the materials and inspiration for her ranges of handcrafted jewellery. Originating from the bottles and decorative glass of past times, sea glass is collected from beaches around Britain where it has been worn beautifully smooth by time and tide. Jenny incorporates her sea glass with silver to create unique jewellery, designed to reflect the movement and subtle colours of the ocean. Jenny also works with anodised aluminium, where she carefully prints and paints scenes from the English Countryside to create light, wearable jewellery that will appeal to anyone with a love of nature. Jenny is a member of High Peak Artists and The Gallery, New Mills. Her work is available in selected outlets in The High Peak and Manchester.
