PAT EVANS
Painter.
Having taught art for many years, I now have the opportunity to focus more on my own work, - drawing and painting.
I am inspired by the ever changing colours, tones and moods of the landscape, very often through the dramatic effects of weather conditions.
I work mainly in watercolour, pastel, acrylics and mixed- media, conveying the varying light , textures and rhythms of the surrounding moorland, and other landscapes and natural form.

LYNDON EVANS
Illustrator, Artist.
I successfully exhibited art and fine print in my early days, and I applied my skills to create for Film and TV design.
I have always used a sketch book for ideas and as a recording tool for my work.
This helps to keep my work, hopefully, spontaneous. I usually create in pencil, charcoal, and pen, with watercolour and inks.
I have always been excited by movement in landscape focusing on the layers of light and shade created by the elements and features of Derbyshire.

DAWN HOLMES
Painter.
My drawings and paintings in acrylic are inspired by the ever changing mood and drama of the Peak District. My work is the result of living in this environment, experiencing the effects of the weather on the surroundings and capturing the unique atmosphere.

MARIA TARNOWSKA
Ceramic Designer.
My unique ceramic designs are handcrafted in my Hayfield studio. They feature wildlife such as dragonflies, bees, butterflies, lizards and sea life. I use hand building and sculpting techniques to create a range of designs from sculptural pieces, large bowls, vases and lidded boxes to egg pots, tiles and porcelain jewellery. They are fired with stoneware glazes and lustres are used to create jewel effects.
I studied at Staffordshire University specialising in sculptural ceramics. Following graduation I taught and lectured in ceramics for eight years whilst also exhibiting my own work in group and solo exhibitions.
My inspiration comes from my love of wildlife and the textures and patterns found in nature. Each piece is unique and makes a truly individual gift.
