Philip Evans

Foston Village, near Derby / Ceramics

The Round House Gallery was established by Philip and Leah Evans in 1989 exclusively selling ceramics made by leading potters who were mainly members of the Craft Potters Association. It originally started in Tutbury, Staffordshire and moved to its current site at Foston, Derbyshire in 1999 having outgrown its original outlet. The Gallery was selected for quality by the Crafts Council in 1992 and was also selected for the Own Art scheme by the Arts Council in 2006. This allows work to be purchased interest-free over a ten month period up to a total limit of £2000. Two exhibitions are held most years. The 2016 annual Bakers Dozen exhibition will be the 27th over a 27 year period. There is a significant range of work for sale between exhibitions and the quality speaks for itself. It is best to look at our website to see a flavour of the potters stocked. www.roundhousegallery.co.uk
